According to statistics, in 2023, the number of people using holiday reservation services for domestic trips in Slovakia increased by 11.0% from 2019, but the number of stay days reached only 78.8% of pre-pandemic levels.

Compared to 2019, the total number of people using holiday reservation services for domestic trips increased by 11.0%, rising from 75,735 in 2019 to 84,033 in 2023. However, despite this increase, the number of stay days has not yet fully recovered, reaching only 78.8% of the pre-pandemic level in 2019. More detailed data is available from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic’s publicly accessible database, which is automatically updated and allows for exploration of organized domestic tourism in the Slovak Republic.
