In the fourth quarter of 2023, out of 1.8 million residents in Slovenia, 1.1 million (64.2% of all residents) did not participate in any tourism trips. Among different age groups, the highest number of non-participants were residents aged 45 to 64. Compared to the previous quarter, the proportion of residents who did not go on any trips decreased to 40.7%, indicating a dependence of tourism involvement on the timeframe.
