According to Statistics Estonia, over 90% of passengers in Estonia use land transport. In 2023, urban transport was the most popular mode, accounting for 77.1% of all passenger choices, followed by railway transport at 3.9%. In 2019, urban transport also led with 75.6% of passenger choices, but sea transport was the second most popular at 4.3%.
