According to the latest data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, between April and May 2022, the most popular mode of transport for foreign travelers in Slovenia was the car or van, accounting for 61.7% of all types of transport. Interestingly, sustainable travel options were among the least popular, representing only 1.3% of all transportation choices. This trend remained consistent compared to the same period in 2019, with airplanes being the second most preferred mode of transportation at 44.0%.
