The Statistics Iceland provides yearly indicators on domestic supply and internal tourism consumption in Iceland from 2009 to 2023. The data is categorised by activity, such as accommodation, transportation, travel agencies, and by visitors which includes taxes, tourism ratio, imports and other. It shows that the total internal tourism consumption has significantly increased from 358,120 in 2021 to 819,843 in 2023. Respectively, the total domestic supply has also experienced a steady rise from 7,500,421 in 2021 to 10,091,110 in 2023.
