According to the latest data from Statbel, Belgium welcomed 18.6 million visitors in 2023. The Flemish Region was the most popular destination, attracting 59.0% of these visitors. Hotels were the preferred type of accommodation, hosting 61.6% of the total visitors, followed by holiday homes and apartments at 9.7%. The number of tourists visiting Belgium remained relatively stable throughout the year, ensuring a consistent demand and economic contribution from the tourism industry.
