The workshop on alternative tourism, organised by Interreg Europe, took place on 20 November 2024 in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. This event focused on sustainable tourism practices, exploring concepts like ethical, slow and creative tourism. Attendees engaged in keynote speeches, group activities and presentations of successful case studies, aiming to optimise social and economic benefits for local communities. The workshop highlighted the importance of co-creation and multi-stakeholder collaboration in developing alternative tourism strategies.
