The webinar aimed to showcase concrete examples of successful use of digital tools for smart tourism management, highlighting how innovative approaches and bold adoption of new technologies have reshaped the sector, while also exploring real world case studies that demonstrate the transformative impact of digital solutions on enhancing visitor experiences, optimizing resource allocation, and driving sustainable tourism growth.
The webinar brought together representatives from Ljubljana Tourism, Toleranca Marketing, EONA-X, Murmuration, SEGITTUR, Dublin City Tourism Unit and the Data Appeal Company who discussed and presented successful examples relating to:
- Measuring the impact of events: the session explored methodologies and tools for quantifying the economic, social, and environmental impacts of tourism events, providing attendees with practical frameworks to assess and optimize event outcomes effectively.
- Visualising tourism management: Delving into data visualization techniques and digital platforms, the session illustrated how graphical representations can aid in understanding visitor flows, resource allocation, and market trends, empowering tourism professionals to make informed decisions for sustainable growth and enhanced visitor experiences.
More information about the main discussion points and key conclusions of the webinar are presented in the Webinar Summary.
Below you can also find the final agenda and the presentations made by speakers during the webinar.
