This report provides a summary of the outcomes from a workshop conducted on February 8, 2023, within the framework of the DATES – Data Space for Tourism project, funded by the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). The workshop focused on prioritizing data needs and purposes within the tourism sector. Its objectives were to outline the goals of the DATES project, identify critical data requirements for the travel and tourism industry, address data accessibility gaps, and highlight significant business issues. To foster collaboration and ensure the successful implementation of a comprehensive data-sharing framework - essential for enhancing the efficiency and innovation of the tourism sector - participants engaged in discussions led by industry professionals.
