The EUROPARC Federation’s network of Sustainable Destinations, which follows the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas methodology, organizes ECST Network Meetings every two years to exchange experiences and best practices. The next meeting is scheduled for October 29-31, 2024, in Westport, Ireland, in partnership with the National Parks and Wildlife Service of Ireland. This event will address visitor flow management in protected areas and will feature knowledge sharing, networking opportunities, and visits to Connemara and Wild Nephin National Parks. Attendees will participate in workshops and discussions to share best practices and innovative approaches to sustainable tourism. A participation fee, ranging from EUR 80 to EUR 200, applies depending on the participant group.
