The Interreg Euro-MED Programme’s work session, set for October 30, 2024, in Barcelona, aims to promote public-private partnerships and enhance dialogue for a more sustainable tourism sector in the Mediterranean. The event will gather experts, public and private sector representatives, local and regional policymakers, key tourism stakeholders, and representatives from the Sustainable Tourism Mission’s Thematic Projects to discuss challenges and strategies for sustainable tourism.

The event will explore two topics: reusing key results and best practices from the Sustainable Tourism Community and applying them to current Interreg Euro-MED Projects, and developing local strategies for sustainable tourism and communities. The session seeks to influence public policies and promote collaboration between public and private sectors. Registration is free of charge and possible by October 29 through the provided link on the event page.
