The Joint Secretariat in Olomouc has announced a call for applications under the Interreg Czech Republic-Poland program, aimed at enhancing sustainable tourism for economic development in the border regions. From August 1, 2024, to April 16, 2025, public authorities, NGOs, educational institutions, and other eligible entities can submit project proposals. Initial project proposals must be submitted between August 1 and November 13, 2024. Projects can focus on the restoration of cultural heritage sites, development of museums, creation of cycling and hiking trails, and promotion of cross-border tourism products. The program encourages collaborative efforts between Czech and Polish partners to leverage cultural and natural heritage for tourism development (The original piece available only in Polish).
