Louth County Council, in collaboration with Fáilte Ireland, has launched a funding opportunity under the Regional Festivals & Participative Events Programme 2025. The initiative is designed to attract tourists from outside the local area and highlight Louth’s culture, heritage, and landscape through festivals and events.

Groups or organisations planning regional festivals and participative events that attract visitors to County Louth are invited to apply. Events should have the potential to be repeated and fall into one of the following categories: general festivals (literary, historic, traditional culture, or family-focused); arts, music & theatre; food & drink; sports & outdoors; business & education. Applications are open until 10 January.
