The Interreg VI A Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Brandenburg-Poland 2021-2027 programme has launched a call for project proposals aimed at strengthening cross-border cooperation between Poland and Germany in the fields of culture, language, and sustainable tourism.

Funding is available for initiatives that foster economic growth, social inclusion, cultural and tourism integration, artistic collaboration, and mutual cultural understanding—particularly those that improve the accessibility of cultural and tourist sites for visitors from neighbouring countries.

Eligible applicants include partnerships comprising at least one Polish and one German organisation. These may include NGOs, enterprises, public-interest institutions, tourism and cultural organisations, local government bodies, and their affiliated units. Each project must be led by a public institution.

The call offers up to 80% co-financing from a total budget of EUR 8.2 million, provided through the European Regional Development Fund. Application deadline is from 31 March 2025 until 18 September 2025.
