The Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine Programme has launched a call for small-scale projects designed to boost cross-border collaboration between Romania and Ukraine. The programme focuses on fostering inclusive education and good governance, while also supporting broader themes such as sustainable tourism, healthcare, biodiversity, and climate change adaptation. Eligible applicants include entities from five regions in Romania and four regions in Ukraine. 

A total of EUR 15,605,083 from Interreg EU has been allocated for this call, with support provided for initiatives that strengthen institutional capacity, promote mutual trust, and improve democratic governance structures. The call is open from 28 April 2025 to 28 July 2025.
