The State Government of Baden-Württemberg has launched the Tourism Infrastructure Programme to support the development of modern, sustainable tourism infrastructure in local communities. It aims to enhance the economic, ecological, and social sustainability of public tourism facilities and improve the overall visitor experience, particularly in areas such as accessibility and soft tourism, for example, cycling and hiking.

Eligible applicants include municipalities, municipal associations, and counties (if municipalities contribute at least 50%). The funding covers construction-related investments for the creation, renovation, or modernisation of public tourism infrastructure. Applications for 2025 year programme must be submitted by 1 October 2025 (The original piece available only in German).
