In 2022, the Fondation du Patrimoine, in partnership with Airbnb, launched the Local Heritage and Tourism programme (programme Patrimoine et Tourisme local) to boost rural tourism development by renovating monuments and heritage sites in French rural areas. This initiative aims to provide financial support to public, associative, or private projects focused on restoring, preserving, or rescuing heritage buildings or properties to promote local tourism. Eligible projects must be located in rural areas, involve local built heritage, and have social, cultural, or economic significance. Applications are accepted year-round. To check your eligibility, please follow the attached link (The original piece available only in French).
