SOLUTEX employs supercritical CO2 extraction technology for the production of its bio-based omega-3 concentrates. This technology does not require harmful organic solvents and significantly reduces waste, energy use, and environmental impact compared to traditional extraction methods. Green extraction prioritizes the use of renewable raw materials such as fish oil and algae. The company plans (2030 Targets) to achieve full integration of bio-based omega-3 production, with a goal of using 100% sustainable fish oil and algae-based feedstocks across all products. The company long-term goal is the complete elimination of non-renewable feedstocks from its supply chain by 2050, ensuring that all production processes rely exclusively on sustainable materials.
