The report, published by World Meteorological Organisation in March 2025, highlights the unprecedented climate disasters of 2024, marking it as the hottest year on record. It documents 152 significant climate-related events, including heatwaves, floods and storms, which caused widespread displacement and severe socio-economic impacts. The report calls for immediate action to mitigate climate change and its devastating effects.
