The Annual Report 2023 of the Brussels Tourism Observatory, published by visit.brussels in 2024, provides an overview of tourism trends and performance in Brussels throughout 2023. The report highlights a strong recovery, with nearly 9.4 million overnight stays, a 19% increase from 2022 and just 1% below the 2019 record. Hotel occupancy reached 70%, and the average room rate rose by 16%, while the city maintained its top global ranking for associative meetings. Museums and attractions also performed exceptionally well, surpassing pre-pandemic visitor levels.
