The February 2021 WeSkill Project report, provided by the European Commission, addresses the skills gaps in the wellness and spa sector across several European countries. The report analyzes existing data, employer surveys, VET provider surveys, and focus group discussions to identify skill deficiencies in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, and Spain. The report provides a comprehensive overview of current and future skill needs in the sector. This detailed examination aims to inform and guide policy makers, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders in developing targeted strategies to bridge these gaps and enhance workforce competency.
