The report "Good Practices for Sustainable Cruise Tourism: Appendix 2 - Destination Fiches," was created in 2023 and was prepared for the European Commission. It includes case studies from a number of different locations, such as the Balearic Islands, Bergen, Constanta, Copenhagen, Cork, Hamburg, Lisbon, and Marseille. Its main goals are to highlight cutting-edge approaches to environmental sustainability, socioeconomic advantages, and destination management in the cruise industry. These case studies showcase the creative methods and tactics used by various places to improve sustainability initiatives, lessen their negative effects on the environment, and encourage socioeconomic growth through ethical tourism.
