The Act on the Rental of Real Estate for Holiday and Leisure Purposes and Camping, published by the Danish Planning and Rural Development Agency in January 2021, regulates the rental of holiday homes, leisure properties, and camping facilities in Denmark. It sets out conditions for private and commercial rentals, including a 70-day annual limit for private individuals renting out their holiday homes. The Act aims to ensure fair use, consumer protection, and compliance with planning and environmental regulations (The original piece available only in Danish).
