The Catalan Tourist Board (CTB) and the Directorate for Tourism (DGT), both part of the Government of Catalonia, have launched the Smart Catalunya Card—a destination SuperApp designed to enhance the visitor experience by making use of the region’s public transport network and integrated fare system. The organisations have committed to the ongoing development of additional features aimed at improving visitor services. One such initiative is T-Mobilitat Turística (T-Tourism Mobility), scheduled for release by the end of September 2024.
