According to Travel Tomorrow, the Cypriot government intends to allocate EUR 3 million over the next two years to support hotels interested in establishing their own desalination facilities. This effort seeks to address water shortages, enabling the popular tourist destination to maintain an adequate water supply during peak demand seasons.
