Starting on 1 May 2026, a new long-distance train route will be launched, connecting Prague, Berlin, and Copenhagen. This initiative is the result of a collaboration between Deutsche Bahn, Danish Railways, and Czech Railways.
The route will operate daily, all year round, in both directions, with an estimated journey time of approximately seven hours between Copenhagen and Berlin, and 11 hours between Copenhagen and Prague.
This project is part of a pilot initiative comprising 10 projects supported by the European Commission, aimed at addressing obstacles to long-distance rail travel within Europe and encouraging the use of environmentally sustainable alternatives to air travel.
