The European Travel Commission (ETC), a non-profit organisation that represents Europe's national tourism bodies and promotes the continent as a travel destination, has pledged to support its members in the seamless implementation of the EU Short-Term Rentals (STR) Initiative during the 2-year transition period and once the regulations come into effect in 2026. The aim is to ensure the successful implementation of the new regulations and to enhance the STR and tourist accommodation markets across Europe.
