In late 2024, European tourism demonstrated strong resilience, with foreign arrivals increasing by 6.3% and overnight stays rising by 5.9% compared to 2019. However, 2025 is anticipated to be a year of heightened uncertainty due to geopolitical tensions, economic challenges, and evolving consumer travel behaviour. For more detailed insights into the dynamic performance of European tourism during the autumn and winter of 2024, please refer to the latest report from the European Travel Commission (ETC) via the attached link.
