The European Commission has awarded the EU Mission Label to 39 new cities participating in the EU Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities under Horizon Europe. This recognition underscores their ambitious aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and seeks to unlock both public and private funding to support this objective. The awarded cities include Antwerp, Dublin, Paris, and Helsinki, among others.
