Aspirational objective 6: Sustainable value creation in the European food supply chain through partnership

With the following aspirational targets:

a) Improved resilience and competitiveness of companies operating at any point along the food value chain by 2030.

b) Continued progress towards sustainable production, contributing to sustainable management, efficient use of natural resources by 2030, and improved animal welfare.

Bio Balkan commitments:

  • We are fostering organic practices in some of the poorest regions in  Europe with very limited traditions in these methods and local demand  for organic food.

  • We emboldened our partners to go organic and make local specialties available for EU markets in organic quality.

  • We are successfully selling these, thereby stimulating demand for and production of organic products in the Balkans.
