Commitments by aspirational objectives:

Aspirational objective 1: Healthy, balanced, and sustainable diets for all European consumers, thereby contributing to:

  • From July 1, 2021: the age threshold will be shifted to “under 13” and the audience threshold will move to 30%.

  •

Aspirational objective 3: A climate-neutral food chain in Europe by 2050

With the following aspirational target:

Reducing net emissions from own operations, contributing to a 55% GHG emission reduction target in the EU food chain by 2030 (following a science-based approach).

Mondelez International commitments:

  • In February 2020 we set up a new ambitious company-wide target to reduce absolute end-to-end greenhouse gas emissions by 10% by 2025, compared to a 2018 baseline, validated by the Science Based Target Initiative;

  • This is in line with reductions in emissions necessary to keep global warming well below 2 degrees Celsius and an important milestone in our work towards creating a sustainable future for snacking.

  •

Aspirational objective 4: An optimised circular and resource-efficient food chain in Europe

With the following aspirational targets:

a) Improved resource efficiency within own operations, contributing to sustainable, efficient use and management of energy and natural resources in operations by 2030;
