EU lags in the development of employee-owned businesses (EOB). One reason is that unlike the rest of developed countries around the world, there is no standardized model and no systemic fiscal incentives.  We wrote a special law for Slovenia that would incentivize EOBs model and we have proposed the European model. The target for 2030 is to pass the law in Slovenia and work with EC to establish state aid exemptions on socially responsible business ownership structure.
