Open Tourism Lab contributes to this topic by conducting scientific research in behavioral sciences to design and forster behavioral tactics promoting a more sustainable tourism. Open Tourisme Lab has in its team a PHD candidate whose research deals with the social acceptability of tourism innovation.
OTL is also involved in the European Cosme project n° 101085903, called FIRST MILE project. This project is aimed at SMEs and uses behavioral science to achieve smarter use of resources (water, energy, food goods, and promote more responsible behavior. By 2025, we hope to support nearly 100 SMEs in their transition to an approach focused on waste and energy.
