The National Tourism Strategy 2030 for Cyprus, launched in January, 2020, presents a detailed plan to boost the country’s tourism sector over the next decade. It focuses on sustainable tourism to protect the environment and cultural heritage, improving infrastructure and services for a high-quality tourist experience, and leveraging digital technology for better services and marketing. The strategy also aims to diversify tourism offerings, including wellness, sports, and cultural experiences, invest in workforce training, enhance global marketing efforts to attract year-round visitors, and strengthen public-private sector partnerships. These initiatives are designed to make Cyprus a more competitive and sustainable tourism destination by 2030.
