Slovakia's strategy for smart and sustainable mobility, developed in 2021 by the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic in partnership with the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, aims to shape the future of transport in the country with a focus on smart, resilient, and sustainable mobility. It highlights the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve transport efficiency and safety, and to build smart transport systems. Key strategy milestones include implementing a single travel ticket system by 2030 and achieving near-zero emissions for almost all vehicles by 2050.
