From April 1, 2024, to June 30, 2028, "DIGITALIZE: Enhancing Tourism Resilience through Digital Solutions" endeavors to elevate the competitiveness of the tourism sector by integrating digital technologies. Spearheaded by the Municipality of Hévíz, in collaboration with partners from various European countries, this 8-semester initiative aligns regional policies with digitalization and sustainability objectives in tourism. Activities include interregional learning through workshops, stakeholder meetings, and study tours to selected cities. These efforts aim to analyze existing digital solutions, share best practices, and enhance policy instruments for wider digital deployment, focusing on improving visitor experiences, attracting new demographics, and fostering innovation.
