The AquaWind project, taking place from September 2022 to August 2025, is developing a floating platform that integrates offshore renewable energy generation with aquaculture facilities. This innovative prototype, called W2Power, features a wind turbine and tanks for fish farming, along with equipment to monitor water quality and fish health. The project aims to showcase the technical feasibility, economic viability, and environmental sustainability of this multi-use platform, supporting the sustainable growth of the Blue Economy in the Atlantic Sea Basin.
