The CROCUS project, coordinated by Aalborg University and funded by Horizon Europe, aims to promote sustainable cultural and creative tourism in rural and remote areas. Running from April 2024 to March 2027, it focuses on developing tailored business models, cross-border living labs, and supportive policies to enhance socio-economic conditions in these regions. The project seeks to foster community engagement and innovation, ensuring long-term cultural and economic benefits.
