The WeNaTour Project, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, runs from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2026. This three-year initiative involves 12 partners from 5 countries, including academia, research centers, consultancy services, and tourism operators. It aims to provide training and networking opportunities to cultivate new professionals in sustainable tourism, equipping them with the skills to innovate for a sustainable and responsible tourism future. The WeNaTour project endeavors to enrich European-level educational offerings in sustainable tourism and destination management by integrating theory with practical applications. This involves facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration among European universities, local administrations, and businesses across various disciplines. Additionally, the project promotes an innovative online training program in Sustainable Tourism Management for students and professionals and provides field-based training experiences to cultivate entrepreneurial skills and address the rising demand for sustainable solutions.
