The FRT 2025 initiative is a forward-looking project focused on enhancing rail tourism over the next two years. With a start date of January 1, 2024, and led by project director Marc Guigon and project manager Vanessa Pérez, it aims to identify and adapt to key factors influencing rail tourism. Five major areas of change are highlighted, including shifts in tourist behavior, environmental sustainability, and advancements in technology. The project's overarching goal is to create a more attractive and efficient rail tourism sector by fostering collaboration among stakeholders and addressing the growing demand for sustainable travel options.
