The project “Tourism Forum" initiated by Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, running from September, 2021, to December, 2028, aims to advance the country’s tourism strategy from 2022 to 2028. It serves as a national advisory body, focusing on strategic issues related to tourism development. The forum’s tasks include advising on policy and legislative development, coordinating actions across different administrative sectors, and promoting the implementation and monitoring of Finland’s tourism strategy. Additionally, it aims to enhance cooperation and dialogue among tourism stakeholders, track and anticipate tourism trends, and assess the impact of various measures on the sector (The original piece available only in Finnish).
