The TRAVEL2035 project (How will I travel in 2035?), funded by the Erasmus+ programme, runs from September 2024 to February 2026 and aims to promote sustainable tourism as a key factor for the EU to achieve its strategic goals and become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Austria and Spain, the two collaborating countries, will encourage students to analyse current travel practices and develop future scenarios, empowering them to become changemakers for a sustainable European tourism future. The project will result in workshops, mobility days, webinars, online exchanges, train-the-trainer activities, student projects, stakeholder interviews, eco-friendly travel planning projects, the establishment of a social media account and website updates, and a virtual award ceremony.
