The enterprise also explores the humanitarian potential of underwater drones in rescue missions and disaster response.

 

Orto 2.0: A Digital Urban Farming Platform Reviving Land and Communities

Orto 2.0 is an agricultural cooperative based in Rome that allows users to rent urban land via an IT platform and grow seasonal crops, which are cultivated by the cooperative and delivered to their homes. The project revives abandoned and polluted plots, transforming them into productive green spaces. Through a model of circular economy, shared data, and scalable cooperation, it promotes environmental regeneration, social inclusion, and sustainable agriculture.
