Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week (DSFW) will take place from 7 to 11 October 2026 across multiple cities in the Netherlands. The event focuses on making sustainable fashion visible and accessible, while promoting new approaches to design, production and consumption within the fashion industry.
The programme includes runway shows, workshops, exhibitions, retail events, repair cafés, talks and community activities. A key focus lies on circular fashion practices such as upcycling, repair, reuse and recycling, alongside discussions on transparency, materials and responsible value chains.
The official opening event, “DSFW Fashion Runway: Rediscover the Future of Fashion”, will take place on 7 October 2026 in Haarlem. It brings together Dutch fashion brands and upcycling experts to present collections that combine creative design with circular approaches.
Throughout the week, activities will be hosted in cities including Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Enschede, Groningen, Den Bosch and others. These events offer opportunities for both professionals and the wider public to engage with sustainable fashion in practical and accessible ways.
In parallel, initiatives such as clothing collection campaigns aim to extend the lifecycle of garments by promoting reuse, recycling and upcycling. The event highlights collaboration across the fashion ecosystem and encourages more sustainable consumer behaviour.
Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week is recognised as a platform that connects industry, creatives and society, contributing to the transition towards a more circular and responsible textile and fashion system.
