The European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (Textile ETP) is organising a webinar introducing the Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub’s Bioeconomy Strategy. The session will present the Hub’s strategy for supporting the transition towards renewable, circular, and low-carbon textile value chains, in line with the EU’s sustainability and bioeconomy ambitions.
The webinar will introduce the objectives of the Bioeconomy Strategy and explain how it aims to position Europe’s textile sector at the forefront of innovation in bio-based materials. Participants will learn about the strategic priorities underpinning the initiative, opportunities for collaboration, and the role of the Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub in bringing together textile companies, research organisations, brands, retailers, and other stakeholders. The session is open to members of the Innovation Hub and forms part of a wider programme of learning and networking activities focused on circularity and sustainability in textiles.
The webinar will take place on 29 September 2026, from 14:00 to 15:30, and will be held online. Participation is available to members of the Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub. The session provides an opportunity to gain insights into the Hub’s bioeconomy strategy and its contribution to the future development of sustainable textile innovation in Europe.
