Over the past few months, the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles (PST) has been re-built into a more agile and independently organised format: Dialogue and Impact for Sustainable Textiles (DST). This transformation marks an important step towards strengthening collaborative action for more sustainable global textile supply chains. 
On 20 and 21 April 2026, the official kick-off the new network for sustainable textiles takes place in Berlin.

The two day kick-off event is jointly organised with the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) and will bring together multiple actors from business, civil society, standard organisations, academia and government active in the textile sector. 
The new Dialogue and Impact for Sustainable Textiles (DST) will serve as a platform for constructive exchange, mutual learning and collective action with the goal to create a space where committed stakeholders jointly develop initiatives, working groups and projects – including collaborative activities in partner countries – with the shared objective of improving environmental standards as well as living and working conditions in textile-producing countries.
