RREUSE is Europe’s largest network of social enterprises active in the circular economy, with a focus on reuse, repair and recycling of textiles, electronics, furniture and more. Together with Rete 14 Luglio, we are organising our annual conference focused on the transition to an inclusive circular economy.
The conference aims to deepen the understanding of how circular and social EU and national policies play out in different local realities. It will also serve as a platform to discuss current challenges and opportunities for social and circular enterprises active in reuse, repair and recycling, particularly when handling ever-increasing volumes of textile products and waste. Together, RREUSE network members, external speakers and participants will aim to create a shared compass anchored in common values, but responsive to diverse national contexts.
Event highlights:
- 22 October will welcome external speakers to present the big picture of the transitions we are undergoing, followed by a series of afternoon deep dives into strategic, specific areas.
23 October will continue with a site visit to a local social and circular enterprise active in textile management, and an exchange on the ongoing textiles reuse sector crisis and current policymaking in this area. The public event will conclude with a lunch reception.
This in-person event will take place on 22-23 October in Palazzo Caracciolo, Naples, Italy. Italian-English interpretation will be provided.
