Sustainable Fashion Week 2026 will bring together designers, brands, educators, researchers, craftspeople and consumers for a programme of events dedicated to responsible fashion and textile innovation. Organised by A Single Thread, the initiative aims to encourage collaboration across the fashion ecosystem while providing practical knowledge and accessible learning opportunities for a wide rangeadd of participants.
The programme includes workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions, repair cafés, community activities and educational sessions focused on extending the lifespan of clothing and promoting more thoughtful approaches to fashion consumption. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics such as garment care, repair techniques, material innovation, circular business models and creative design practices that support longer product lifecycles.
A key feature of Sustainable Fashion Week is its emphasis on practical engagement. Rather than focusing solely on discussion, the event encourages participants to develop hands-on skills and discover actions that can be applied by individuals, businesses and local communities. By bringing together professionals from different parts of the fashion value chain, the initiative also creates opportunities to exchange experiences, showcase innovative projects and strengthen collaboration across the sector.
Alongside its educational programme, the event seeks to raise awareness of the environmental and social impacts associated with clothing production and consumption, while highlighting the role that informed choices and shared knowledge can play in supporting positive change. Activities are designed to engage both industry professionals and the wider public, creating an inclusive environment that encourages dialogue and participation.
