The European textile and apparel ecosystem continues to evolve at pace, shaped by digitalisation, sustainability imperatives, and advanced materials. Against this backdrop, TEXNOVA 2026 – International Conference on Textile Innovation offers a timely platform for exchange between research and industry.
Taking place on 29–30 October 2026 in Belgrade and Zrenjanin, Serbia, the conference will bring together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to explore emerging developments across textile science, technology, and innovation.

TEXNOVA 2026 places particular emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies within the textile and apparel sector. As European industry navigates twin transitions, such discussions are increasingly central to maintaining competitiveness and supporting the green transition.
The conference aims to foster dialogue across disciplines and value chain actors, ensuring that innovation is both technologically robust and industrially applicable.

Call for papers: important deadlines
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original contributions aligned with the conference themes. Key dates are as follows:
Abstract submission: 1 June 2026
Full paper submission: 15 August 2026
Acceptance notification: 1 September 2026
Camera-ready submission: 20 September 2026
Early engagement is advisable given the interdisciplinary scope and expected interest.
