The FutureProofTextiles project has announced Open Call to support textile SMEs developing digital and green innovations across the textile value chain. The initiative will select innovative SMEs to receive direct funding and tailored business support, helping them accelerate the adoption of circular economy practices and Industry 4.0 technologies while strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of Europe’s textile ecosystem.

The opportunity is open to SMEs operating in the textile value chain, as well as technology and machinery providers supporting the sector, established in eligible Single Market Programme (SMP) participating countries. Selected companies will receive a €50,000 lump-sum grant, specialised training in circular economy and Industry 4.0, and personalised mentoring to strengthen their business model and market entry strategy. Applicants must propose an innovation project at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 or above and commit to €10,000 in co-financing.

Applications are open until 18 September 2026. Interested SMEs are encouraged to review the full eligibility criteria, application requirements, and submission process before applying.
